I dont really know Greg as I am not a fly fisherman I am ashamed to say .Think I used a flyrod a total of three times in my life caught some gills missed several trout by pulling away a dry fly too quickly.

Since Yellow Perch feed mostly on bottom perhaps some type of nymph or small shrimp imitation with a sinking line would work.Ask the real Fly Fisherman and keep nudging me to pull out the old Flyrod and get serious about fly fishing.I really should get into it!

John, Those are really pretty fish. I would really like to catch one of those. If you were fly fishing what type of fly would you suggest?
