Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I'm not much of a bass fisherman, but look at the perfect coloring on this Rainbow Trout bass bait. In my neck of the woods, this bait should be about 5 inches longer than it's 6 inch length. I need to find this in a Bluegill color!

that's a killer lure!!  LMB should knock the  heck out of it

That will yield so many bass starting late spring. Should troll with it Jeff.

I've read about some of those lures, the Z-Plug, Castaic Trout, and others.  Some of them are 12" long!

Yeah Allen, here at our local big Bluegill lake (L. Perris), they have some giant Florida strain Largemouth Bass  that we have seen come up and make a pass at our Bluegill as we are fighting them.  Some of the bass guys throw these giant trout-looking lures for them, and some actually catch big ones!

Jeff, I agree with you about the length.  This lure, as-is, would probably kill the LMB on my home lake.  But, if I could get one 4 - 5" longer, I'd take it down to the Lower Illinois River and use it to chase the monster Stripers that are in there.  They feed on the stocked Trout in the tailrace.

Hi I bought my brother inlaw a lure that had actual fish skin on it, it was 18.00 to 20.00 we paid for, the lure and it looked real,he was very happy when he opened it up and I said don't loose it $$$$$
