Thanks again guys.....Louisiana is the same way Greg....don't see the trot lines and limb lines around here though...Sometimes you have to be luckier than good.....we've had pretty good weather considering my vacation was planned six months ago.....I'll always fish in June but May was great this year too.....

What a great double catch. You have me ready to hook to the boat and head east!!

10" DOUBLES!!!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!

The lake I fish has some pressure on BLUEGILL, but in Oklahoma they are a bait fish for trotline and limb lines!!!! GO FIGURE!!!!!

There's a few anglers that fish gills but I normally go weeks in between seeing or talking to someone on the water pursuing gills....Many options available and folks just don't give the gills as much attention.......

Wow! They are going ballistic in that water. How heavy is the fishing pressure there?

Yes Vince...we're tipping the pink jig with live crickets and it has been a killer for the last month.....Such dark water here, I truly believe the sparkle from the neck of the jig and the protein/motion of the live bait sends the gills over the top.......

Two chunks! Were they caught on the grass shrimp?

Pretty good White Perch run on the lower Pasquotank right now so folks are chasing them right now.....

And I wonder how many have the right jig Jim......We're having a blast on these baits....We are tipping them but why change when you find something that works....Only saw two boats all afternoon and one of those was the Game Warden......
