I like those tiny Yo-Zuri crankbailts also, John. I have a few Snap Beans in different color schemes.

Vince, I do catch a lot of Gills' on the Crawler, but it's like any other lure, there's a time and a place to throw it. When it's on, it does well for me.

Unfortunately, (as far as I'm concerned anyway) it does tend to catch a lot of smaller Ba...Ba...Ba............   I guess no lure is perfect! ;)

Slow sinkers like the Snap Bean work great on Gills!I have a Teeny Torpedo by Heddon that sinks slowly with a swivel on it that catches Gills too.I am not sure if the lure is "defective "its supposed to float but it catches fish so I'm fine with that!

I have seen these before, but have never fished one. I think Rebel makes a Grasshopper with a plastic crankbait lip as well. Do you catch a lot of gills on the Cat'rCrawler, Tony?

It sinks, albeit somewhat slowly. It runs fairly shallow on the retrieve.

Does that lure suspend ,sink, or float back up to the top?

That's awesome! I assume that the rock bass would demolish that.

Don't think I ever seen that one before.

I tried the Rebel Teeny Crawfish and a Rapala floating minnow at the hybrid pond last Friday...no dice! They were deeper and took the jigs.

Maybe the 'cooler' weather will bring them shallow for the crankbait bite.

That is a good looking plug. Looks like the shape would pull the fish to it. Nice!
