Thanks Rex....I am experimenting with spoons from the testimony of the members here....My river fishing is a little different....I still prefer jigs and live shiners when they go deeper but I still have a lot to learn from the spoon aspect...I refuse to rule it out because of the proof available here...

Jeffrey, Nice crappie. Found a few today myself, using a grub tipped spoon. Do you ever use spoons when they get deeper. 15ft of water today was were I found them. Looks like your still finding them in shallower water.
