Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Some of these guys were a pleasant surprise considering surface temperatures were sitting at 43 degrees at noon.....

Black and olive in half finger.....grey in full finger.....  may be intended for use as a liner inside a heavier glove...

Know just the place to look.....thanks for the lead......thought the olive looked familiar...

That's great! Still catching them actively at that temperature. You definitely need some fingers protection Jeffrey.

Yes I can..... Uncle Sam issue!  Seriously, both my half-finger and full finger wool gloves come from my local Army-Navy surplus store. I'll bet an enterprising submariner could come up with a pair or two!winking

Do you recommend a particular brand of wool gloves Tony?

I should've added that when it actually gets COLD, I forego the wool and switch to a heavier glove. But with the temps right now, wool is king in my book.

Plus, fingerless gloves just look so darn COOL........

Wool gloves....fingers cut out or not. Even when wet they do a good job keeping your hands warm, and they're not so bulky that you can't fish with em'.

No gloves so my hands were all pink from exposure...about the time I would get it thawed out I would have another encounter.....good problem to have....I see why many members have the fingers cut out of their gloves though.....I haven't found a pair that I can fish with yet. Don't realize how much you use your hands for until you can't use them with a bulky set of gloves....
