Add me to the list of anglers who have taken big gills on Gulp! minnows.

i ran out of bait on the bank the other day and i cracked open this bottle. single hooking the bait saw alot of stolen bait because the worms are so thin. i resumed catching gills at the same pace as the leaf worms. i havnt tried the 1 in minnows yet.

Agree Jim....I had very good success on the Gulp Alive Minnows this past Spring both on Crappie and Gills.....Chartreuse Shad, Pumpkinseed and Emerald were my favorites...

You know... a good friend of mine used to smash big gills on tiny fathead minnows intended for crappie. Certainly something to consider.

Maybe give the 1 inch Gulp! Alive! minnows a shot on a plain 1/32 oz jighead. It's a killer up here for fall crappie and you can usually catch 15 to 20 crappie on one bait before changing to a new one. Sure saves on buying minnows in the long run...plus, they won't die in the heat!
