Thanks John….I came home late yesterday very happy then I turned on our local weather and got depressed….we were over 80 degrees Sunday and Monday and that was enough to get our surface temps above 60 and the crappie quickly responded….now we have a cold rain and high winds from a coastal storm…..but just a little set back before the full moon when it all breaks loose here……I’m excited though……a lot of times you will catch some small males first to let you know they’re moving shallow but I caught four of 14” so I was very pleased……

They're spawning already. It's April and Early May up here. Great fish!
