This is always a wonderful sight when you're heading back to the launch after a great day on the water....

Looking forward to seeing this sight next week....

It's brackish water coming off Oregon Inlet on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I catch flounder, largemouth, rockfish, bluegill, yellow perch, white perch, speckled trout and plenty of blue crabs all in the same body of water. Bull sharks and alligators as well, go figure! Thanks for the question JC...

Is this area saltwater, brackish or fresh?

I have several locations that I fish on this river that allow me to take in the Sunrise and Sunset on the way out or heading back to the launch! A great way to start or finish a fishing trip!
