Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

FINALLY got it finished with oars and a drain plug in it now so I don't have to turn it upside down on the trailer when it rains all night !

I WILL have one, whatever it takes.
Maybe not this year, but it will happen.

Ken,

Gheenoe gone - the guy sold it out from under me. So much for people honoring their word. If yours going to look for one, go to Florida and bring lotsa money.

Rick... nice looking setup... oar locks what a great idea.

David ... gheenoe is a great boat... get it!.  going to look for one down south... florida this winter. 13 footer with a five horse gets around 10mph but will easily handle a 10hp that i heard makes it fly.

Good looking canoe, I still have my old green flatback scanoe, with a 3 hp Eska motor and a troll motor.  LOFR

Bob when I was a kid my Dad refurbished a canoe he maid a box for a car battery that fit on eater end and he sat in the middle of it and had a lil kicker motor on it and it worked rather well once he got the hang of it or when he had me in it he put the kicker in back with him and done well with that also when I sell my motorcycle I am thinking of getting a 10 or 12 foot canoe and doing the same rig for myself just a suggestion but it works

Great setup Tooty! I have never seen a canoe with oarlocks. This should row like a dream, and the drain plug was a nice touch too. Good luck in S. Illinois. I know there is some great gill fishing to be had there. We look forward to seeing some pics from your trip!
