Thanks guys....about 8 to 8.5 inches is the largest I normally see here in my region but they remain aggressive around other sunfish and even take the larger jigs like this 1/32 ounce grass shrimp jig that was tipped with a live cricket......

Very healthy fish. The thing I like most about gill fishing is the variety of panfish and the wide range of colors of each species. Fish looks real good against the dark water background.
