Synthetic paired up with live bait to catch prey. The things we have to come up with to outsmart these fish these days. Too bad we can't use the same method here in CA waters.

I was a little concerned about the hook size but I was getting solid lip hook sets so I was catching most fish that hit...It gets a little unnerving to pick those slab crappie up on the telescopic poles and swing them in the boat.....The ones I used today may have to be retired but I'll gladly expend baits to have the success we had today.......

YUP THEY DO LOOK FUNNY JEFFREY!!!!!!!!!! LOL ! WHO knows what the fish see and sometimes wish I could talk to em and say WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU STUCK that funny looking bug in your face!
