For "baby shad" fishing Bluegill I most often employ 1.5" to 2" baits and most often tip them with live bait or sometimes a Crappie nibble.....All the colors shown here have been successful in the river systems in and adjacent to the Albemarle Sound in Northeast N.C.

Not really......I like the baits from Bobby Garland with the Mo-Glo technology.....but I caught some great crappie and gills last Fall on the pink panther from Bass Pro........
