Jeffery;; reaching a milestone of 5000 fish is terrific;;; and a well deserved congrats to you  on achieveing  it !!  going for 10;000 when you retire ??  I want to be there to help you documate that !  some of those big gills are bound to  hit my line to- LOL  !!

Thanks all......making 5,000 is significant to me personally Carl with the main two reasons as follows:  I must be going fishing and the waters I fish are still very productive......both are true on the Albemarle and I still have ten locations that I want to fish.......I have added (2) premium spots this year that I had never fished before 2015 and they are incredible.....one was a lead from a local and the other was from reading google earth and following my instincts......One other location has mysteriously been a panfish bust but I haven't totally thrown in the towel on it yet. We continue to have good numbers of panfish stocked by the state and no major fish kills in the last 12 years.....I hope these conditions can be mirrored when I retire and fish full time and then we will discuss records......I think 10,000 will be challenging but I'm better in cold water since joining this site and it will be a lot of fun to try anyway.........I've already told my wife that I will fish on weekdays after I retire and spend the weekends with the "fam".........that's a few years down the road so we'll see.......
