Big Fish Of The Day On A Gray Overcast Morning.....15.75" Black Crappie For My Co-Angler And Friend Eric.....
Fish was just under 2.5 pounds ...........big fight on a telescopic pole.......

Thanks guys........this was interesting...........we had a few telescopics drifting with minnow tipped jigs as we casted to shallow cover for gills and a few other mixed species..........I hooked up with a nice gill and realized simultaneously that Eric's float was under and alerted him to it.........meanwhile he has a take and sets the hook on a fish with his rod n' reel.........calls for me to grab his pole but I was occupied with what would be a nice cracker.........his pole started sliding back on the boat and he finally grabbed it and we both exhaled when this big crappie rolled over........I rushed for the net and got it to her for a thrilling couple minutes..........took this snap and got some vitals before a quick release..........we'll share this memory for some time to come I'm sure........
