thanks Mark and Carl......they're still shallow for a while longer Mark in our region.......gills will be rushing in with the warmest week of 2015 right behind the full moon..........fishing the right water is very important Carl....appreciate it!

Thanks guys.....the crappie express continues to roll on the Albemarle......most fish are still in 1 to 3 feet of water around heavy cover........In May I search for gills and when a pod of crappie present themselves I attack.....really fun to catch the quality fish on telescopics and light tackle........

Yep Jim......probably another couple weeks here and then the majority of the crappie will retreat in our region.....it has been extended with the mild spring we are having.....
