I showed this pic to Lori, Jeff and she said...

"Swamp People..... ugggggh. Need a roasted alligator head in there, too. Yecch!"

The look on her face was priceless.

WOW!  Where can I order some?  Thinking about doing a boil myself here in MN.  Cant find these in MN besides at buffets and they just go out too fast like what Leo said.

@ Dick - well, its not actually the brains you suck out. However, it's probably best not to go into it too deeply, here! LOL

I love the crawdads I just can't find myself sucking the brains.

For people that like them Tony it's usually about 10 pounds per to satisfy the taste buds...There is a hundred pounds in this monster cooler!  They have all been eaten ....Suck da' heads and pinch da' tails!

Comment by Tony Livingston on March 23, 2012 at 6:24pm

I've caught large crawdads many times over the years, but I just don't care for them. Course' I don't like lobster either, so I guess it makes sense.

I don't recall ever seeing a cooler full, though.

We paid over $3.25 a pound because of lent.....The prices will drop immediately after Easter but it's worth it when you don't live down here.....They were great and I tried to eat a few for everyone..........We went through 100 pounds last weekend.....
