Excellent, our boys can both swim well, but when they're on the boat they wear a PFD.

Tony she swins like a fish but the rules are if your by the water your in your life jacket. This rule will never be broken.

I caught a huge snapping turtle on my Snoopy pole when I was a kid. I remember being scared of that weird looking thing.

Glad to see the life jacket on her, Dick. Has she learned to swim yet?

Thank you David I'll remember that.

Great, Dick. She's sweet and you're a good grand-dad.

And for the record, never scoff at the Barbie fishing pole, or it's cousin the Snoopy rig.

Here again,  you risk the wrath of the Angling Gods. These little things catch fish and can be useful in tight spots or when fishing vertically. They're not much more than an ice fishing set-up, after all.

She tries hard and catches fish to show for It. She is older now and this year she wants to fish without the float like Grandpa. What Cheyenne wants I'll try my best to see that she gets it. So this year she'll be shedding the float. My they grow up so fast.

So precious. She's going to be an angler we all have to compete with later. I'll be screaming, "I got one!" and she turned around and show a bucket full of them, with a grin on her face.
