COME  to think of it Leo we had Dial phones till last year, seems the telephone company , OWNED BY SOME GUY OUT EAST and think his name was Thomas Edison , just allowed the phones to be switched out with modern push button models. All the computoids in town are also on a list of subversive devices , and closely regulated by the town council. Every step forward is two backwards here Leo. We have to drive to a big town like Peoria Illinois if we want to see new stuff from Berkley company.......

Good for you and the family Leo !!!!!! Nope we are in the middle ages here Leo and they just allowed Micro wave ovens in town a year ago. The folk here are somewhat gothic when it comes to new fangled gadgets like cell phones etc.,

David, these tilapia are not hard to catch at all. It takes the right bait, and they are not shy to grab the offering from you. A few rods were literally gotten dragged into the water. One of mine nearly did. My wife loves fishing. This is why when we have time to hit the water together as she's free, I will drop everything and head out.

Tooty, you're mastering the internet. There's no way you are behind. I'm on the other hand are completely behind, the last car somewhere.

Thanks Leo and never seen one in person but they look great and of course Green rods are my own favorites here and will check one out as soon as I see em in the stores here. Usually takes a year or two to get modern stuff like these here. Wagon trains are slow to Troy Grove buddy........

Nice that your missus goes along. My beloved wouldn't go near a fishing pole.
Those are some nice fish. I thought tilapia were hard to catch?

Dick, no kidding. I was shamed by my wife, as I was prepping the rods. She went from fly rodding, to trout rodding, and WHAM!! I barely had my rod prepped, and she came bearing the first catch..shame shame on me.

Tooty, yep, Berkley's green Trout Series rod, 7'2". One of my all-time favorite rod.

At least someone's catching fish I'm thinking you need to ask the misses for some advice or lessons one.

Leo is Mrs. Leo holding one of the new Green Berkleys?

Comment by Leo Nguyen on May 4, 2013 at 5:37pm

Yep. First time she and the kids visited the site. She heard a lot about it, so, I have to bring her here, after finding out the water quality and fish tissue reports came back with great positive info.
