Leo… once joining this BBG site I became obsessed with following panfish throughout all the seasons and associated water temps. I actually enjoy these periods more because the fish are easier to find without the weeds for cover… and most of the fishermen hang up the rods till spring… no fishing pressure on the lake or ramps! Amazingly We are finding fish are just as active during the Major and Minor Solunar periods.  

admittedly it could be uncomfortable with the weather... I've built up a wardrobe of foul weather gear through the past few years to get past that.
