This one had really pretty colors in person. Not sure it's really coming through in the picture. This is part of my brood stock in my pond

No management yet! So far they're just growing. I suspect I'll have to actually pay a little more attention to the pond this year. Thank you though. The tab looks a little small, but there was certainly black tips on the scales.

Stocked last summer at about 3-5" (couldn't tell you how big this one was). This one was ~8". My guess is this is a female? But my gut says it's a male.
