As Bullworm and many other infamous gill masters would say, "Let's dig some holes." Plenty of fun in the snow and ice until the pond resurfaces.

Wow Leo look what your missing.

There is a pond out there some place

Hope I don't need the truck right a way looks like I'll be digging for the 3rd time.

Exactly David. This is why I made my trailer to have ease of loading and unloading. Just one side requires upgrade on the strapping gear. The saddles are much easier to deal with than the J holders. I get scrapped up every time lifting the yak up into the J holders. Pain in my behinds.

The one drawback to the Hobies is the weight. I threw my back out when I first got mine. just getting it in and out of the truck.

Yes Dick. They do, especially the Pro Angler series. Of course, you need to be a heavy lifter too. roughly 80lbs of scattered weight, and about 150lbs of loaded gears weight. Lifting those things out of the water and place them on the yak racks can break your back.

Wow they make them things for heavy weights.

WELL--  WHY DIDNT YOU SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!    LOL!!

Comment by Leo Nguyen on January 5, 2014 at 10:47pm

LOL Carl, you know it's our butt cheeks that need padding. But can't discourage those who want to exercise and enjoy a bit of water activities because of a butt-back pain dilemma.

Comment by carl hendrix on January 5, 2014 at 10:30pm

are you sure its the back seat that needs padding?

Comment by Leo Nguyen on January 5, 2014 at 9:59pm

Jason's back wasn't feeling up to par by day ends. Looks like I need to increase the seat's padding for those who are not used to cycling.
