This catch was also on the North River back in Mid July 2012 on a Live Cricket.....Don had just landed his first ever Bowfin when this bull Coppernose came to daddy!

Don's a native of Arizona and he had never freshwater fished an estuary until I took him along....He is hooked and we have a good time wetting a line a telling all those "Sea Stories" from our Bubblehead days in the Navy. The tenders were a great concept Dilly but they're all extinct today....all turning into razor blades if you will!

Looks like a nine incher!! Did this hook him to pan fishing?? I was on the USS Shenandoah, a destroyer tender. We worked on subs once a year to keep our qualification. I nwver understood why they decommissioned the Shenandoah, when it was the newest destroyer tender in the fleet.
