Bluegill caught up in one of the swamp rivers near Firetower Road, Red Breasted Sunfish (?) caught at Waterfront Park in Elizabeth City. Both fish were 8 inches long.

Search just Redbreast Sunfish and more pics come up Roy .Love RBS! Small but cool looking fish .The ones I caught in the Shenendoah River in Virginia are the prettiest I've seen! I like they way they look more than the ones I catch here in NENJ which I also think look great!

Hard to believe it's really August, now if we could only get enough rain for me to stop seeing the swamp fire in the distance when I look out my door!
I've got a fly rod and reel, I just need to learn to set it up and I'll be set! lol

Bottom fish looks like a nice "Flier" to me Roy. The Pasquotank holds some really nice ones. Enjoy this mild weather we're getting....Is it really August!
