The fins on the Evenrude and Johnsons some of the 50's had horizontal fins don't recall and vertical ones.

I really like the "modern" round space-age shape of those old outboards.  Just like the old classic 1950s cars!  Did anyone ever make an outboard motor with fins, like a '57 Chevy or early '60s Cadillac?
