Wrapped between the eyes and around the hook eye with chenille.

You are correct Dick !Great eyes and the eye of the hook looks 'nosey".The whole head on the bug looks great the way you trimmed and shaped the head!

I like to wrap ice dub between the legs to separate them.
It also gives that little sparkle that is so nice.

I tie the legs 2-2.5x the hook shank length.

Better to have them long then Dick , you cant make them longer if they're too short to begin with .
