13 inches is a "Fish Ohio" in these parts. Perch jerked two days last week in Lake Erie. Biggest was around 10 or 11 in.

Yeah they're some tasty fish aren't they!I wish they would let us keep a couple more of them out of Lake Michign but it aint happening right now.So you gotta keep the bigger ones to feed 2 people.I have a couple of meals now and going back tomorrow to try for the third one.Hopefully, Illinois Dnr will wise up and close the spawning season within the next few years.So we can all continue to catch these bruiser sized perch for years to come.
