it also helps keep up with what patteren your making;; and how many you have of that patteren.!  what I do; is make 1 pattern; then make a different one and place it above the first; then make a completely different pattern - put above the second- then go back to the first pattern.   that way you don't get bored making the same one over and over!!  I like your tying bench!  you have a place for everything!  something I have yet to make!

I got the idea from u carl. I gave it a couple coats of paint so now its brown to match my tying bench.they r real easy to make don.

there you go bluto!  it gives you plenty of room for your flies and jigs; with it staggered it doesn't cramp you setting them!

 Yeah, that will work. I may need to make something like that, I have been putting little magnets on the metal lamp that sets on my tying bench and just sticking the bend of the hooks on one of the magnets. Not the best method but it works..........Don in SC
