Hey Ray, ya those medalist are still available. I used to seel em in my shop and had 10 at one time. Let me know what size and I'll see if I have any more. I also like the old Okuma Sierra's . Silent click on in mode and liked them for that reason too. Got some of those left too I think...........

I see an old Pflueger Medalist reel in that pic of the BG. I know that the user has to be an old Fart like me. Those old Medalists are great old reels. I even have a couple of the new ones that are only a couple of years old. Not quite as good as the originals but close and more than useable. Matter of fact I wishing I had bought another one or 2. I am not sure they are available any longer.

Thanks David I will I have call a lot of things and 'OLD GEEZER" is some the better, but after 73 years I guess that is good.  A little about that bug you seen I made it on # 8 2x long hook and body is out of bass wood and the eye are from Hobby Lobby sealed with epoxie.  Didn't lone just to let the paint dry.

We have lots of tiers in this group and I guess it's because of their years of experience at tying and fishing ........... Just a bunch of like minded old dudes in this group and some youngsters under 50 in here too that just like the old timers stories !!!!!!!
