Got this old wonderod off craigslist yesterday I think it's an Fy 500, at 8' 6" seems like it has a lot of flex it's says eight weight but I think I'll try it with 6 or 7 wt line. what do you old pros think?

GOT A NEW OLD WONDEROD the other day and makes me sad to see this fine old stuff mostly gone now . Once in a while ya run across some old ones in decent shape like this one . It's a SHAKESPEARE  MODEL FY 250 ,7'9" PURIST MODEL WITH THE REGISTRATION BROCHURE .... HOPE YA LIKE IT

TOOTY, I hope he lets me give it a try, a friend of mine got it!!! The REEL SEAT I thought was quite unique!!!!! I don't remember seeing that style!!!! Slip ring had a serial #, he was wondering about info on it!!!!!! Or where to go for info, I told him I would show the MASTER!!!!
