I really don't know much about the southside of Houston. I live 40 miles north in Magnolia. I do know that the Woodlands lake are open to fishing

Comment by Charles Singleton on January 4, 2010 at 11:00am: I'd say to wait 'til the temp gets up above 60F. 'Gills, IIRC, don't hit the beds until it's 63F or so, and I think that would give the little ones the best chance of survival.
