Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Step 4: wrap about 10 turns of lead wire around hook shank.Step 5: tie in hackle.Step 6:  Dub a body up to the eyes.  This is creme colored super bright dubbing by White River.  Forgot to list this in material list.Step 7: tie in two strands of crystal flash here at the eyes.Step 8:  wrap hackle up to the eyes and tie off.  Trim off excess.Step 9:  cut off hackle fibers on top of the body, as above.Step 10:  pull cellophane strip over back and secure down making evenly spaced wraps of thread.  Trim off excess leaving a pointed snout [or whatever shrimp have for a face].  Whip finish and cut loose thread.Step11:  color back with pink marker and wipe with finger which leaves only the thread wraps pink.  Take gray marker and color a spot on the belly.Step 12: apply a coat of fabric fusion or epoxy of your liking to the back of shrimp after trimming bottom hackles tapering to small length as shown.  There are some videos on the web that show a variety of techniques, but I wanted one that gave the pink ribs on the back and this was the only way I knew that I could get that affect without staining the dubbing.   Hope this has been helpful.  Just wanted to give something to the forum for the tips and knowledge I have gained from everyone on here.

Again, Ive come waaay late to this one, but it looks super. Im thinking this could be downsized a bit to #10 - #12, as well.
