Reverse Rigging for Senkos and Other Stick Worms

OK, guys... a number of members have asked about the reverse rigging for Senkos, Yum Dingers and similar style worms we used to fish on top of heavy algae and weed mats to get those explosive, blow-up strikes from quality bass during late summer. So, here are a few pics to show this simple adaption...just run the 'tapered' end of the worm in on the front of the off-set worm hook so it can glide over top of the slop easier than the blunt end.

Fish it on 20 to 30 lb Sonic Braid...work it like a scum-frog and inch it along on top of the There is still lots of hot weather bassing to do all over the map, so give it a shot at your local, weedy lake!

Also again I get line twist using rubber worms so I now tie a barrel swivel and use a 2 foot leader ,it eliminates line twist .

Yes David, Where  Weed edges  and Rock come together at sharp drop-offs . We seemed to always get some fish doing the line we did for that Wayway smallie .We've caught LM and SM Bass, Pickerel  and Trout .

"Discernible" structure might be the better term.

Hi John the hook is hard to get a x snap in it , a straight one would work, it would be better if it was red. I haven't had a problem with out one

Hi John I posted the pics the hook is A Mustad wide gap weedless worm hook  ref # W37754R they are the red colored hooks, the hook I put  uv glue on the wire that is wrapped on the hook shank to stop it unraveling I tie my fishing line to the hook with no swivel
