This is my son's first BG, caught at age 6. Today he is 42 & I'm sure glad I have this print.

Here's how to do it - very easy. Get some printing ink at an art store, or acrylic paint will do also but the printing ink is made for this. Pat the fish dry and roll the ink over it well. Maybe when at the art store get a small ink roller also.  Then take a piece of paper and press it gently but firmly on the fish. I used a thin walled brown paper bag for this one as it's stronger.

After it dries you can put it in a press inside a heavy book to take a set. Maybe slightly mist the paper just before putting it in the book. Make several prints and pick the best one.

Feel free to email with any questions. Steve in so la

That's cool Steve....nice keepsake........

Wow nice idea . Sleepy

GREAT IDEA AND KEEPSAKE BUDDY.....

I love this. I'm gonna try it next season. I have an old book that details it in depth. It has a name in Japanese, "gyotaku," and as you might expect, it is revered art form over there.
If anyone wants the directions bad enough, I can transpose them.

Now that's a really cool thing to own.
