Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I'm looking for the best quality, small curly-tail grubs for Bluegill and Redear Sunfish.  I would like to find one of about 1 to 1.5 inches long that has good swimming action on a slow retrieve.  So many of the tiny ones that I have purchased have little or no action on a slow retrieve.  If I go up to a 2 or 3 inch size, they will have a great tail swimming action, but those are too big for the tiny jig heads that I want to use.  Anyone have any ideas?

I Have had good luck with some from lucky e strike, under the name crappie magic. I found them at walmart. I found not setting hook where body starts to tapper helped tail action. hope this helps. I also found putting a small slit in tail also sometimes helps.

Mister twister 1" curl tails are by far the best micro curl tails ive ever used. the action is just the same as a 2 or 3" grub. i think the name of them is the mister twister teeny

ditto on  Mister  Twister  small  curly  tail  grubs   ( 1"  lil' bit )

very good action with the  1"  ( lil' bit )  for its size.

I haven't tried the Mister Twister stuff. I always hold off when I get to paying for that postage. Maybe Ill take the plunge.
