Do you love big bluegill?

    I hope everyone made it through the holidays  ok and have their fishing equipment ready for Spring , I want to invite everyone here to   " RENDEZVOUS V " , it will be at  Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park again on Kentucky  Lake near Camden Tennessee  , May 17th,18, 19, and 20th.  This year Bruce Condell has a signed permission slip to get out of the yard so don't be surprised if you see him there . We will have the regulars and I hope a lot of new faces, I know I am bringing some . Planning on some great fishing ,  greats eats , and a lot of laughs , so make plans now, you wont ever have a better time  !    LOFR

The West Tennessee bluegill are heating up even if the weather isn't. The timing should be right on for the Rendezvous. 

Man, you guys are having way too much fun. Wish I can join. Family life with a wife going back to school is a kill-joy.

What would kind of be a ballpark figure on the cost of that weekend?

John I don't exactly how much the cabins rent for around $125 a night I think but they hold a lot of people so we split that up.

If you camp you can get a site for 15 to 35 a night. There are motels about 7 miles away from the park but I have no idea what they run.  Other than that just bring enough food and bait for the weekend. LOFR and Carl Hendrix could tell you more.

That gives me a good idea....obviously we bring our own boats?....jf there is antone from central ny to ohio and would like to share drive and expenses would be great....icejohn

MIGHT JUST SHOW UP MYSELF , WE'LL HAVE TO SEE ABOUT THE HEALTH THEN....

Remember to polish up those video cam apps on your phone. Pictures may worth thousands of words. But videos, they are a gold mine full of bloopers that can't be said with mere words.

Weather is finally turning around here in West Tennessee and the fish should moving should be heading for shallower water soon. We figured out a good pattern for  post spawn bluegill last year. We should have them covered which ever way it falls this year. We learn more every year and hopefully they don't throw any curveballs this time.
