Do you love big bluegill?
I just found what is left of one of my kid's Halloween mask. It's a gorilla mask, with the plastic "face" missing. All that is there is the black craft fur of the top and sides of the "head". It needs to be washed, but I've got probably a little more than a square foot of the stuff.
Time for some leech patterns!!!!

Fly tying material, like humor, is where you find it!
Good find. Now, cut half of it into 3" squares and sell it on ebay as Primate Fly Tying Fur - no gorillas were harmed while obtaining this fur.
you'll make a killing!
Scruff,my duck guide says he has a supply now of duck butt feathers, I just have to get them from him, we are facing more snow and ice so I dont know when I can get them from him, but go ahead and PM me your address so I can mail them to you. LOFR
CDC feathers?
Allen , do you need some Too. LOFR
I could use some, definitely. Would you be interested in a trade?
Allen, PM me you address and I'll make sure you get some too, no trade necessary. LOFR
Sweeeeeeet! PM sent......
When I restarted my fly tying hobby back up, anywhere you look, there's a fly tying material potential. Just have to be inventive with the material when you tye.
Have a look at this shrimp pattern, Leo. Some pretty random use of materials here. Adjust the size, and you're golden on the grass shrimp bluegill baits.

Bookmarked. That shrimp is beautiful! Will make a few and test it out on the water during late winter. Unfortunately for us, the shrimps here are either rare to non-existence. So, enticing the gills will have them go, "Wuuuaaahhh?!! It's a freaking trick boys!!"
hahaha! You know bluegill - bite first, ask questions later.
