Do you love big bluegill?
catfish squeak
Any time I catch a catfish it makes a weird squeaking noise. Never heard any noise from a bluegill. Has anyone else heard bluegill make a noise?

No, but a shellcracker (redear) will sorta grunt at you. If you look down their throat you'll see why. They don't call 'em shellCRACKER for nothin'.

I did an experiment one time and took a cassett recorder with a microphone in the boat and recorded the squeaks the fish made when we caught them,after analysing the tapes and amplifying the sound and speeding up the tape the fish were heard loud and clear, they said " Beat Texas Longhorns"
