That stinks Jim...I'd  put a "for sale" sign up if I had 48 degree temps on 5/31.........Hope things improve for you soon....

it was 97 here last sunday

HEY JIM,
IT'S BEEN HIT AND MISS ALL YEAR HERE as you know since you are only 50 miles away from me here. SO MANY FISH , SO MANY NEW BUGS TO TRY, AND THE WEATHER IS LOUSY!!

HEY JIM,

LAST week I put up alot of pics and the weather and fish cooperated for a change and wish it was like that again this week. Most fun with a fly rod in years for OLE TOOTY AND DOUG. In the old days we'd have stayed till dark chasing the big gills, but can't do it anymore with my back and such and really don't have the desire to clean 150-200 fish a day anymore.
Doug is 68 I believe and has a few health issues and I'll be 63 soon and sometimes when I"m in the lawn chair I'll take a break from fishing and take a  little nap. Not a long one sometimes 15 minutes or so. Ever seen an old dog laying in the sun snoozing? It's me in disguise!

Wow. 48°F and practically in summer mode. That is freaking cold! Would be nice to have that here in California for the mountain. We can do snowboarding a bit longer..but fishing..that sucks!

HEY LEO,

WE RAN THE AIR HERE FOR TWO DAYS EARLY THIS WEEK and tonight I have the furnace running. cold and raining here tonight . Mid 40's here tonight I believe.

HEY JIM,

A few minutes ago I answered one of your questions about my bugs and was thinking of your deal on the popper tails. HOW ABOUT SUBSTITUING GOOSE BIOTS ? THEY should be much more durable or also how about pheasant tail? GO GET SOME PHEASANTS and save the long tail feathers and  you are in business.

i hate to fish public water on a saturday but i gotta do what i gotta do.missed most of the spawn last year.hey a new guy on here is my cousin bob cosgrove.hard core gill fisher as was his dad .trying to hook on the fly rod, welcome him if you run across here ,thanks

WILL DO JIM AND WHEN DID BOB JOIN?
