Watch out deer.

Hi Dick more into Tree Rat hunting now .I can get up later:-)
Sorry the statement was kind of broad. My tree rat experience is find me a confy tree to rest my back agents and get ready to nap.
Thats my other vice , I bluegill fish, and hunt, anyday in the fall and winter I'm a mile away from 100,000 geese, I 'm less than 10 miles way  Claypool Reservoir and some of the finest duck  hunting in Arkansas and North America, as for my deer hunting we still own the old family farm  in the Ozarks, thats where the Crappie Cabin is, we are so far back in the sticks that even the methodist handle snakes. We hunt deer, bear , squirrels, Quail, coyotes and turkeys. Our Crappie cabin is overlooking a isolated river that is full of smallmouth bass. I am almost to the point that I will be putting up my fishing gear till spring, because I wont have time for it till then, and that gives them some free time to get bigger.   Dont laugh at my shack, it's our home on weekends, we even have sat tv to keep up with all the ball games , GO Razorbacks,Overall starting in Oct. , bow season , I'll be busy wait on spring to go catch more bluegill.       LOFR
I love the Cabin very cool.Nice pic thanks for sharing.

I used to hunt a lot - upland bird, small game and deer.

I haven't been in ages.

David I been hunting for thirty five years. I am getting more into fishing .I sit out there and think about the pot of chilli I made and go home. lol

Anyone hunt N.J ?
