The reason I asked about Steelhead Tooty was because I was over at the Fishing Book Library group and saw your photo post of a Steelhead book .

Tooty.when was the last time you fished for Steelhead ? Only done it a few times in the Salmon River by Pulaski NY .Boy would I like to do that again!

David, I want to thank you for the fly recipe on the silent stinger.  I have never fished the lakes you mentioned but I know where they are, I usually fly fish the lakes around Madison Lake, MN. mostly for sun fish with a float tube in the evenings, I'm having a slow start this year because of all the windy days we have been having this June and the early algae.  I'm hoping July weather is a lot less windy and the green algae clears up. Thanks so much. Maybe later ill go to Lincoln Trail. I am really looking forward to going to Beck lake this coming weekend. As I said before , I am still learning. I have been reading and watching videos so I'm anxious to try what I have learned!

Welcome aboard Tooty. If you remember a bout 6 months ago I pitched this idea on fishing electronics then I got so busy around here I forgot about it.
