Do you love big bluegill?
Full moon and the spawn?
Can someone explaine to me how the full moon correlates with the bluegill spawn.
And when exactly to fish around it?

seems we go thru this every spring.i for 1 am a firm believer in the full moon spawn theory.others will strongly disagree.all i ask is let some of those big males free to insure the future.a search of BBG will will i am sure will get you to responses on the spawn

I know I'm late to this discussion, but we fished yesterday 8/6/2020, 3 days after the full moon. I cleaned a few of the fish and found eggs in 2 of them. Are these late spawners or do female Bluegill spawn more than 1 time a year?
