...thanks Tracy!...I’ve been tagging them accidentally b.gill fishing putting the bait in the zone... might actually try tagging them intentionally with typical catfish baits and tackle... hot dogs etc

Fighting them on the b.gill equipment is a bit much… actually broke a rod last September on a 28” er

Thanks Jim!

This fish capped off an incredible 3 days in a row of implausible fishing same spot same lake! The boat accounted for 3 Master Anglers! I tagged a nice specimen P.Seed at 9.0” for the first day and a nice upper 20’s C.Cat at the end of the day. Earl then tags a nice 9.0” P.Seed the next day with 2 cats in a half hours time… I follow up the following day with a 29.5” C.Cat Master Angler I can now take off my bucket list…lol

...Hey thanks guys it's been a genuine blast catching these C.Cats with the bluegills along the weed beds the past few days. We've been tagging bluegills and cats with the micro Jigs and the Micro Lite equipment. This is the fourth one in the past 3 days all stretched to the mid and upper 20s mark

The battle lasted about 7 to 10 minutes with the 2 lb Nanobraid setup. I had to horse this fish in with pressure at all times due to the dense weed bed in the lower water column. The Line incredibly held up... I believe it actually tests stronger than 2 lb and is extremely thin

I bet that was a fight on the UL rod?  How long did you battle this leviathan?

What a ride that must have been. Congrats, Slip.
