Thanks guys.........it's always cool to see a spawning pumpkinseed in our dark tannic waters.........alot of the yellow you see on a seed in other waters is filled in with a dark chestnut color and the brilliance of the turquoise throughout the body is spectacular.
I hope you get your monster Shawn.......take some pictures when you do!

Jeff for a long time I have literally dreamed at night about a clear pond that has huge panfish that have crazy colors like this. Those dreams drive my addiction. I found a monster last week in a forty acre pond she was squaring off with a bass circling each other. I couldn't get her to eat but i plan on laying her out a buffet soon. :)
