Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Best fish out of a stunted bass pond any guess on the inch and weight I know its not a ten pounder lol but I'm curious as to you guys opinion?

So ive been fishing a farm pond near my house for years close to ten years and ive only caught decent bluegill and little dink quarter pound to one pound bass.It was very frustrating yet fun as well but I wanted to catch something with some size so I took 2 largemouth about 12 inches from a local reservoir to put into the farm pond to add some different genetics as well as added a good amount of channel catfish.. I did all this about 3-4 years ago so I go out fishing the pond the other day and .burning a rooster tail and I hook one that feels good and he pulls a little drag on my light action ugly stick with 4lb test and I land him and it kinda blew me away a pond ive fished for so long finally produced a decent fish not huge but solid I think its one of the fish I put in the pond 3 years ago good to see its growing

Healthy looking LMB… how well are the channel cats doing?... maybe the channel cats took care of the stunted LMB population?

I don't catch very many of my channel cats I don't target them to often I have caught a few of the over the years they have been in there the ones I have caught have definitely grown
