Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

With the new rod incoming and the plans are micro crankbaits and micro spinners for the most part I need a smooth casting line for these smaller baits. Mostly 1-2" and I think the heaviest I'm looking at are right around 1/8th oz for the bigger ones. Would there be any benefit to go with the Berkley Nanofil in say 6# test as it seems to have a super small diameter. Rod is rates 2-6# and the reel is UL 4 or 6# rating. Other options would be just a 2 or 4# Flouro or Mono line also. Looking for thoughts and ideas. Wanting something that will cast well as most of my fishing is from banks in tight cover stream or coves.

Slip any comparison to say 4# Fireline or 6# Nanofil? Also what retailer were you able to find it at? I've seen in on some European sites and forums and seems to get really cool reviews.

…found it by accident at a local wholesaler outlet... it is so slick you have to be very careful of your knots. fished it thru concrete rubble for walleye below a dam without a problem. ive caught a few crappie so far sensing the lite bite with 1/64 oz jigs twitching jigs thru heavy wood cover. so far i really love the near friction free casting.

I see Cabelas has Gliss in stock. Diameter wise it looks on par with Fireline.
Got my hands on some Sufix Nanobraid in 6# test it feels awesome. Seems super limp and I wasn't able to break it after tied in a knot. Can't wait to get it out and test it some.
