Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

  Back in the old days the old mountain men would get together for a rendevous  , Tootie and I were just wondering who would be interested and like to join us in early Sept on Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee  for a Old fashion bluegill rendevouis . This wont be a fishing tournament but just a BBG get together for a good time catching fish, eating good,swapping flies and lies.  Does this not sound like too much fun ! We arn't getting any younger, let us know what you think!   LOFR

Be kind of fun maybe get some fly casting lessons from some of you pros at least a casting contest, just for brag'n rights of course,,,

Johnny, this is the type of input we need to make this a success, are you planning on coming?    LOFR

I'll be glad to try to help you out on your fly casting Johnny;; thing is;; I don't know much about it either!!

Yea Johnny, it 's just a flick of the wrist and timing, and timing is the hard part because of the different length of line you have out, when you get all the line behind you and you feel the tip load up just flick your wrist and send your line toward the target. LOFR

Hi Guys;

Am sorry to say we won't be able to make this inagural rendezvous. Totally forgot that I had committed to something else on this weekend that I can not get out of. Sorry-was so looking forward to this.

Enjoy, Kelly
