Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Just thought I would drop a little note here to let everyone know that I'm still kickin' but, not in the float tube way. I have been putting in some serious hours at work, seeing family before they go back to Alaska, got a family reunion coming up next weekend, county fairs, getting ready for classes to start and last but not least... battling flu bug! All that aside, I'm hoping to get out Sunday. I'm also planning a muskie fishing stunt via a float tube. That is taking some well thoughtout planning. Stay tuned!

Hey BW, hang in there, man. I have been real blessed to have such high caliber panfish waters practically under my nose. I'm excited about this spoonin thing...especially since it finally worked for me! see ya Jim
Thanks Jim! It will come. I have some prime waters at my disposal as well just no time. Congrats on the newly aquired weapon...THE SPOON! Works up here, very well in the winter!
I'll stay tuned, bro'!
Wish, I had the overabundance of work problem right now could use a little more to get some things done around here. The second job took a leave of absence. On the other hand, it does make more fishing time. Will be seeing some good fishing freinds tomorrow that I have known since I was a kid in school, time for a few beers, a fire, a guitar or two, and some good memories. Pretty rich, without the money, in a manner or speaking.
Muskie in a float tube, sounds like good fun too.
hey summers are like that a neighbor of mine was in Alaska for sevral years he tell fishing stories that don't sound bad you might want to return the vist to them
You are one busy man Pat!....but that "flu thing" in summer!...arghhhhh!....not good!.....Summers "rolling down" for sure (so short here as we Minnesotans surely know)....The first indicator is the first "thick" morning fog(well, the Iron Range anyways)...always a subtle indicator of the changing seasons....Where'd summer go?....lol!.....Even the ponds that have been "absent of geese" for 2 months have geese back in em again...cold ,rainy, windy day here today....no flyrodding going on here!....maybe tomorrow!....Still time to enjoy those calm waters !.....
Thanks guys for the words of encouragement! It is frustrating, and knowing that winter is not far off, doesn't make it eaiser either! I'm accualll looking forward to ice up! I have all the ice fishing gear ready to go. I haven't done it in years, Steph has NEVER done it! I will have something Sunday guys, if the weather holds out. You all be kind and be safe, and most of all SET THE HOOK!!! Take care, Patrick
