Crappie Pole
This is the style of pole we grew up using on Kentucky Lake. This 9ft. pole belonged to my Dad, it is most likely a B&M crappie pole, it is faded out,with a Martin automatic fly reel. It's filled with 8lb. mono. You could adjust your depth instantly while tight lining jigs. All serious crappie fishermen used this setup. It's very good for float fishing too.

those old reels are hard to beat keith!! glad you kept it!! I have a old perrine auto reel- use to belong to my uncle;; I remember him using it in the 50;s. I inherited it in the 70;s;; and still using it!!

The reel is at least 30 years old. It still works great I don't know how many rods it has out lasted. This is the last one while I'm still alive. It still has one of his hand tied jigs he tied on.
