Lucky, this is "Hopeland Garden" in Aiken, SC.
It its the former home of the Iselins, a wealthy family of the early 20th Century. The house took fire and burned down decades ago, but the property belongs to the city and they made it into a public garden. It features walking paths, gazebos, pools and fish ponds and is home to the Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame. They also have a renowned outdoor stage and illuminate the entire place at Christmas.
Google it... tis a very nice place.

HEY DICK YOU ARE RIGHT !!!!!! HANGING OUT IS A LOST ART EXCEPT FOR A FEW OF US OLE TIMERS . SEEMS to me people are just to busy or focused today to spend time relaxing . I remember reading somewhere that we all need to slow down some and that seems to be good advice for most folk. Peaceful comes to mind when I looked at this picture Mc Scruff posted a while back..........

David that definitely looks like a true southern picture them overhanging trees, look so pieceful there. Wish I was there hanging out myself.
